Regarding @FE: Even Methclaves and his sub 14 mile runs haven't made it work.

His snatch does much the same. Although, Chigishev has some beautiful technique.

how, for the life of me, is BMac so revered in the CF community when his "science" is unfounded, he DNF's so many races and CF Endurance is nothing more than middle distance training which is quite simple to accomplish without killing yourself using CF? Not to mention his insane cockiness about that goddamn magazine article....
Is it the badassness lookingness of him (joke), maybe the fact that he rips off his shirt for every photo op and has that retarded tattoo on his hand that means who knows what...
I don't get it at all... he is like the crazy gym guy who is trying to tell everyone that because he took Smilax he got hyuge.

Poor little B-Mac is trying hard to be like Couch, spewing pseudo-scientific nonsense in front of dumbfounded @fitters. You have to give him credit for upping the doucheness factor to previously unknown highs, but he's still just a skinny faggot only good at DNF'ing.Ash Uber Alles wrote:how, for the life of me, is BMac so revered in the CF community when his "science" is unfounded, he DNF's so many races and CF Endurance is nothing more than middle distance training which is quite simple to accomplish without killing yourself using CF? No one can top Couch when it comes to drunken, senseless ramblings in front of whiteboards. Which brings me to the important part of this post: where is our beloved Couch? Is he still laying low, setting up an ingenious plan to claim back his empire?
Where are all the other @fit apostle like Bony Pudding? We need some drama!
Re: The couch thread
News flash: There is officially no inherent difference between male and female in @F-land:
andCJ (#24),
There is no Rx for women because there is no inherent reason to use less weight. I addressed this on the Games site a few days ago:

I'll explain some of the rationale for why we don't "post the women's Rx" on the main site. The reason is because there is no women's "Rx" separate from what is posted. I know that there is a broad misconception out there that we do in fact have official women's weights. Instead, there are common scales that people use for comparison purposes (such as Fran at 65lbs), but these are not sanctioned official by us. Now, you might think this is sexist, but it's not. Most of the top women can do Fran as Rx'd (meaning 95lbs) faster than most average male CFers. Kelly Moore, a woman in her 40s, can do Diane as Rx'd faster than almost every male CFer.
In the Games, we assign different weights (and sometimes different reps or other modifications) for the women because we believe it will make a better competition that day for those women. But that is just for the sake of that one competition. For example, in the Clean/HSPU event at the Games this year, we debated what the women's weight should be. We settled on 135lbs, but after watching the event, I think we went too light. It should have been 145 or 150lbs.
To presume that women, or any other population, are limited to some percentage of anyone else is simply wrong. It's probably even sexist.
A novice is someone who keeps asking himself if he is a novice. An intermediate is someone who is sick of training with weak people and an advanced person doesn't give a shit anymore. - Jim Wendler

Holy shit that is dumb.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

But, for the most part true? If the majority of men are stronger, faster, have more endurance than most women, is that sexist? To presume that women, or any other population, are limited to some percentage of anyone else is simply wrong. It's probably even sexist.
Across the board, male elite Ironman winners are 10-20% faster than the female winners. The 100m winners are separated by about 10+%. The totals for Oly at +/- 75kg for men and women are separated by 25%!
Sorry Tony, you're teh fail.

A system of training that results in women outperforming men is like a school system that turns out blacks with better grades than Asians. Its reversal of the natural order is at least highly suspect and perhaps morally criminal.

I had never taken note that they didn't do separate workouts for men and women, that explains why their men are so unappealing.

Re: The couch thread
I was doing cleans yesterday and on the platforms next to me were two 115lb @fitters in fucking vibrams (sorry Ed) and @fit shirts doing sumo high pulls with 65-fucking-pounds. I defy you to find a stupider goddamn exercise. They both looked like limp-wristed vegan faggots, and Zone or Paleo or whatever isn't going to make them gain weight if they don't touch a barbell over 100lbs ever. After they got done with the sumo retardedness, they started overhead squatting a fucking jump rope. I don't find women that small and weak attractive, much less men... for fuck's sake. The lone female @fitter we have in the gym probably outweighs them by a good 40lbs and she was deadlifting 225 the last time I saw her.Yes I Have Balls wrote:Whaddya mean 'unappealing?' We covered this probably 400 pages ago. When men and women are told to lift the same weights AMRAP, the women get strong and hawt and the men get skinny and tired.Jezebel Jones wrote:HAHA! =D> =D> =D>Gary wrote:A system of training that results in women outperforming men is like a school system that turns out blacks with better grades than Asians. And you'll get it. I've already said that there is malice in the palace. I was wrong about a coup d'etat at the Games, but I'm sticking to my story that half the reason they seem so out of touch at HQ is because when they're supposed to be doing actual work everyone there spends half their time guarding their turf and the other half sleeping with one eye open to avoid being backstabbed and replaced by an ambitious up and comer.Cowboys and Aliens wrote: Which brings me to the important part of this post: where is our beloved Couch? Ladies, strength-endurance work turns otherwise unappealing skinny white chicks into the vaguely masculine she-hulks that can turn a brotha's head away from the soft, chubby white chicks.

Hardbodied butterfaces FTW. I prefer manotaurs to manatees, but that's just me.
Re: The couch thread
Being a lesbian might contribute to that as well (or given the way they are, it should make them MORE appealing to you-fuck it, I'm confused)Jezebel Jones wrote: I had never taken note that they didn't do separate workouts for men and women, that explains why their men are so unappealing.

Pretty sure this has not been brought up. Ole' BMAC'n'CHEEZY and CFE get put through the ringer about their specious claims and the people in charge of CFE (just like CF) come back with:
1) You're haters;
2) Go to a Cert
3) You're haters.

Sounds a lot like:
1) DNF
2) ???
3) Profit!!!!
