There is no way its worth that... that is a sports franchise price tag and CrossFit can't even fill up a small venue for their one big event of the year. The cash cow will run out one day, its bound to happen. We all remember the HIT craze and how that seemed to be all over the place, that died out... circuit training is just that, and people will start to grow tired of paying money to get certified to circuit train and learn how to do an air squat, which is something you can learn to do by a few youtube videos if you really need it.

As far as the HQ stuff goes, more and more affiliates are caring less and less about what they do and are in it just for fitness. I have talked to plenty of people in CF and this is the case for many of them who aren't knee deep in HQ.

Has it occurred to anyone else that the Reebok rumor may have been used as a fundraising tool to make private placements, like in the movie The Producers (the original, not the remake) selling equity to starry-eyed Kool-Aid drinkers who want a piece of the rock?

I mean, the RRG scheme was a great fundraiser, and got pulled off without any serious repercussions, this just seems like a logical way to keep the party rolling at the HQ tree fort.

I recommended they consider designing a transforming pump weightlifting shoe that could also function as a running and box jump shoe.

I'm assuming that they will switch to a franchise system. How can the value of the seminars be forgotten? 2000 affiliates at $1000 a year affiliate fee (now $2000, some were grandfathered) is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm assuming that Reebok would probably be trying to buy out the whole thing.

Could lead into clothes lines, branded equipment, books, all that stuff. The sell out of the name could be spectacular.

What are the assets? What do they actually own?

The company is run like a members-only tree fort, not a business. What do the books look like? Do they even keep books?
