The guy who brought us one of the best books ever, Gates of Fire (The Themopoly book that should have become a movie as oppossed to that comic book shit.) comes Virtue's of War.
Basically it is Alexander the Great confieding in one of his Jr. officers and retelling much of his life.
I have lifted his thoughts on Economy of Force for our Jujutsu class. Being strong where the enemy is not and all that.
An awesome read, pretty good on the history. It has me now reading another strait history book of Alexander, Robin Lane Fox's The Search fro Alexander the Great.
Pressfeild has another Alexander book about Afghanistan I will pick up.

Both of these Pressfield books are on my Amazon Wish List. As soon as I finish a seemingly endless biography of Marcus Aurelius, these will go towards the front of the line.
