Was interested until I saw it had 10% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Saw the same and would not have gone except my 11 year old and his friend wanted "badly" to see it. Of course, they liked it. I cannot remember hating a movie as much.

I had a feeling that it was going to be bad, but I didn't expect the universal panning of this movie.
Friend of mine saw it and said that complete strangers stood up at the end and starting talking to each other in order to confirm "did that just happen...was it possible for a movie to be THAT bad?"

I don't understand how Hollywood keeps blowing the Alien Invasion, Earth fights back theme.
All the elements are there but they keep doing stupid shit with it.
Independence Day look like the shit on the previews and then it was the biggest lump of shit ever.
A advanced militeristic race comes to invade earth and needs our Cable TV satilites to time their attack?
Fuck, you could just meet on the mothership and syncronize your swatches and do it.
I've had an awesome story in my head since I was 10.
Seehill, let's work together buddy. I got ideas, you got the writting chops, we can make lots of $$$$$ when we shop it to Hollywood.
