DICKHEAD paragraph typed by you
""""""""I hate to make fun of you, brother, but go with me for a minute:
You're going to gather your 25 (TWENTY-FIVE!) athletes, presumably at your BOX, where there is (presumably) all of this, um, equipment, and you could even have them bring their families and friends, charge a few bucks for some food and maybe to get a few porta-potties (just to have enough for everyone), and then gather in the middle of your gym, or outside, and then tell them, "You can't compete this year. There are no sectionals..." And then everyone can stand around, stare wistfully at the equipment, and complain that there's no Sectionals... Maybe you could even give it a name - and ask CF HQ for license (for some nominal fee and a media kit and some guidelines) - and call it the "UN-Sectionals" or the "CrossFit We Can't Have Sectionals Gathering.""""""""""""

They are discounting their list price by a shitload, but still making enviable margins. Unfortunately, they aren't "making money" because their "administrative costs" (retreats in Bermuda? On call hookers? Fleet of company cars?) far exceeds their revenue.WildGorillaMan wrote:Can anybody else spot anything odd about this income statement?

EDIT: The snoozefest for the people that will be watching all of the submitted videos for the online sectionals should be pretty epic. Don't you @Fers realize that this is the best way for @FHQ to cherry-pick the people that they want in the front when @F makes it on TV for the first (and likely only, ZZZZZZZZ) time? Kristan Clever will probably be the only one grandfathered in.

As foolish as it is to have video submissions for entry to the supposed fittest man/woman in the world, makes me wonder what would the NY Marathon, the Ironman series or even Ninja Warrior think if we asked them to enter via video? :D

Back on topic, if they lower the barrier to entry from $100 to $10, but get 100x the number of entries then HQ is still ahead.
On the other hand, they have to pay some poor shlubs to watch hundreds of videos of pressed out 30kg snatches and deadlifts that would make Diesel Weasel cringe, so the suicide rate amongst the video screeners is going to increase HQ's insurance premiums.

Nah, be a couple of minutes of watching at the most. Contestants will be judged on how "hot" they look, all the better to roll out before the public that way.WildGorillaMan wrote:On the other hand, they have to pay some poor shlubs to watch hundreds of videos of pressed out 30kg snatches and deadlifts that would make Diesel Weasel cringe, so the suicide rate amongst the video screeners is going to increase HQ's insurance premiums.

Seems like Meade and Progenex' lawyers are trying to take out Anthony Roberts and company
http://www.anthonyroberts.org/
There's a complete hatchet job being conducted in a very heavyhanded manner. Interesting.

That's actually laughably pathetic.Cyber-Terrorist Linked To Hate Propaganda
SEE CRITICAL UPDATES FOR LATEST ON ROBERTS TAKEDOWN
The FBI defines terrorism as the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives. Cyber-terrorism, which does often include criminal libel and other forms of intended harm and abuse, is fast becoming the most effective medium to carry out these crimes. Anthony Roberts is being pursued legally for civil and criminal libel, which includes the posting and promotion of hate propaganda against orthodox jews, the gay community, and other minority groups.

Re: The couch thread
Anthony Roberts had made it his mission of late to bang on Progenx 24/7. I was surprised they had not stepped in sooner as Roberts was alledging domestic violence and fraud against Meade and deception and fraude against Progenex. He had a ton of history going back to Meade and MetRx. The cyber threat stuff is actually pretty good. I would love to be able to smack down someones site like that. Anthony Roberts is a cool dude, but when you have someone who is shady and has $$$ (Meade) you can't call them a liar, cheater and women beater in public. Can you imagine how dangerous couch could be if he was ever lucid and sober for and 48-72 hour span?

That site is full of win.
LOL!Finally, Darren claims I’ve sent parcels to his “office” (note: Darren’s so-called ”office” – the Kairos-Meade World Headquarters, according to the physical address listed at the bottom of his emails, is a UPS Store):
"Know that! & Know it deep you fucking loser!"

This is getting really entertaining.
Are Reebok's due dilly people sleeping or are the already aware that the other major sponsor of @fit is seriously dubious and plagued by scandal, not to mention that happenings at HQ itself tend to get a little goofy?
I say Reebok is going to walk.
