Jesus. Does Katherine Derbyshire have the answer for EVERYTHING?
I think she forgot that she's only supposed to drink the Kool-Aid not douche with it.

Yes, that's what living up in Seattle, eating granola bars, and doing Aikido do to you.

Indeed. The best part is that he trolled their forum by using their FAQ.

"Barky, The Early Years"

Once when I was ten I was walking down the street with my father. My dad was a real SOB. Brutal but brilliant. Certifiably insane and wildly aggressive, uncontrolable and strong but Columbia Grad several times over and proud member of Mensa. He loved me but had strange, difficult to understand kinds of ways of showing it. Anyway, I went to step out into the street without looking both ways. Even though it was obvious there weren't any cars coming, before my foot touched the street he geared up and smacked me so hard across the face with his huge calloused hand that my ears rung. I think I went cross eyed for a minute, ended up with a hand print on one side of my face and cried in public (which made made him mad enough to smack me again). This was one of his more gentile moments. That's the way he was... all the time.

I had a feeling that she had daddy-douche issues. Might explain her attraction to Couch and VaGilliam.

This was one of his more gentile moments.
A dictionary definition of "gentile" throws up this
gen·tile [jen-tahyl]

–adjective ( sometimes initial capital letter )
1. of or pertaining to any people not Jewish.
2. Christian, as distinguished from Jewish.
3. Mormon Church . not mormon.
4. heathen or pagan.
5. (of a linguistic expression) expressing nationality or local origins.
6. of or pertaining to a tribe, clan, people, nation, etc.
–noun
7. a person who is not Jewish, especially a Christian.
8. (among Mormons) a person who is not a Mormon.
9. a heathen or pagan.
I knew she was one of the chosen people, but why is she being racist against non-Jews by equating physical violence with not being Jewish? I am offended and now regret those many acts of onanism I performed in her honour.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Now look. I've eaten a pice of pie.
When we spin the pie again, the area cut out of the volume of the sphere equals fitness.

My biggest problem with Crossfit- changing a movement to be different and finding excuses to back it up. The overhead swing is dumb. I have fixed far too many CFers who came to me pretty jacked up from doing it- I don’t get it. Want to put the KB overhead? Snatch it. What to move it to get you out of breath? Swing it to chest level quickly, or clean and jerk it for reps. Still easy? Go find a heavier bell. Overhead swings are harming service members who are stuck doing cultfit because stupid captains/junior officers/junior NCOs make them do it for unit PT. Since my record for fixing people vs. breaking them with training is 100% win/0% fail- I feel qualified to say overhead swings started by a quad dominated lumbar flexion snaps fuck you up.-Adam Glass

I completely agree w/ this statement and am familiar with the American Swing ( ), but what is he talking about with "quad dominated lumbar flexion snaps" initiating the movement in @fitters?

When they turn the swing into a squat-then-yank-it-overhead-with-the-shoulders rather than folding at the hips and driving the bell up with hamstring/glute power.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

I think that he meant to say that a perfect overhead KB swing is completed when the angle of the dangle is proportional to the heat of the meat, the direction of the erection, and the dimension of the extension.
