Great work from the wrestling team, the coach, right on up to the video production team. Congratulations to everyone involved. You can't top anecdotal evidence or anecdotal story-telling.

Look at Speal. Thats a good indication that people with wrestling background have the mentality to excel in this sport. Its great to see Crossfit helping these kids in wrestling, but it will be interesting to see when wrestling is over is this becomes the go to sport for wrestlers, much like mma is now.

You mean they don't just want to compete to see who can do the best MMA workout?? Screw the sport. Turn working out into a sport!Shafpocalypse Now wrote:Wrestlers like to do real things like MMA, or at least most of them who want to keep competing do.

I love how @fitters think they have the market cornered on working hard. No matter what the legitimate sport is, you'll see about 100 posts about how mentally tough it is to do @fit.Gin Master wrote:Jesse Gilge wrote …

Newsflash: any sport you take seriously and train for is FUCKING HARD WORK. Doesn't matter if it's running cross country or football. If you train for your sport in order to succeed, you work hard. For more than 20 minutes at a time.

Actually, no, Rant. I nixed this with Mario after I purchased the community last weekend for 3 beers, a handful of 9mm ammo, and a bondo'ed out 24 kg kettlebell.

What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is an evidence-based fitness program.
FAQ: I am injured and will probably not be able to complete any of the Open WODs. However, my injury will be healed by Regionals. If I register for the Open and my affiliate's team makes the cut to Regionals, will they be able to designate me as a competitor on the team?

I just checked out the store. I see they are still slinging $35 t-shirts. I think I've got more respect for the douches that wear Affliction or Ed Hardy tees at this point.
