I can't even make a couch-speak joke out of this. What I'd really like to see is Benny step on Castro's chest and try to pull his arms off.powerlifter54 wrote:Alfred_E._Neuman wrote:It may intuit well that if you can pull 1015, pulling 250 for 21 reps at a high heart rate is a fucking joke.WildGorillaMan wrote: You want work capacity? Be strong as fuck.Correct Version:It may intuit well that if you can pull a 250 pound deadlift 21 times coming to the lift at a heart rate of 180 beats per minute, then 500 pounds for a single at a resting heart rate is perhaps manageable.
If 1015 pounds for a single at an aroused heart rate is observable, then it may intuit well that you can pull a 575 pound deadlift 22 times resulting in a heart rate of 180 beats per minute.

Skinny 20 somethings w/ no tits or ass to speak of are a dime a dozen. The 25 pounds overhead or whatever it is adds nothing to the mix.Pinky wrote:Shut up and post more pictures of the girl.
Anyone have pictures of her mother? Or her deliciously chubby sister??

Quote:
At sixteen, Addie Kozlow and Christian Kloot are just old enough to drive. As their peers are using their newfound freedom to drive to friends’ houses, get drunk, and mess around—Kozlow and Kloot are hitting the WODs. While they may be young and new to CrossFit, don’t doubt them. They’re turning out impressive numbers in the Open.
My favorite:
Addie plays goalie for her high school soccer team, but finds herself sneaking out of practice to get in a CrossFit WOD if it covers movements that she needs to practice. Ever since finding CrossFit, she has set CrossFit and Olympic lifting as her top priorities. Addie says that her peers don’t get it. They think it’s just a workout, but it’s more than that to her.
The empirically-proven methods of @fit will no doubt turn these two into olympic-level athletes, given how young they are starting down this path. Assuming their shoulders survive.
Has any kid who has passed through @fit actually gone on to play collegiate sports?

Not sure. But if they have, it prolly wasn't the ones that cut out of real sports practice to "practice" crossfit.Songjabong wrote:Has any kid who has passed through @fit actually gone on to play collegiate sports?

Check out the Superhuman post and the following comments.

I love it. I especially love the "HQ will take care of everything" bullshit that is being spewed by the minority.

LOLtzg wrote:I find it funny how, in teh comments on the oneworld piece, there were people saying that 135# or 155# thrusters would sort out the cheaters. 135# thrusters? really? Okay, I admit I haven't done them for high reps, but I can do 135# presses for reps pretty fast and 135# front squats aren't even a joke, so I'm not sure what's supposed to be hard here in the combo... Perhaps a broad mode domain is missing...
Yeah that shit was funny.

But.... if he has such a problem with @fit and what they are doing, why continue to use the name? You don't have to pay the annual fee to use it, he can just say "thanks but no thanks" and keep doing what he is doing without actually paying them.

It's always a marketing decision, and he probably still gets more out of using the name than he puts in.Jay wrote:Freddy = good guy.
