Thor

Post by Dunn »

Classically cheesy much like the comics. The plot seemed to jump a little in places that gave the movie a rushed feeling throughout. Not bad action, despite the use of the "jumpy in the action" camera angles. The acting was OK. Branagh does the role some justice with his simple arrogance and naivety but it could have been better. Hopkins made Odin seem like a puss...not cool.

And of course, Heimdall was black. Also not cool.

All in all it is worth the 2 hrs just for a fun break but I gotta say it could've been A LOT better.

I liked but my kids loved it.

Nice action, some comedy, a little mushy shit, drinking, Hawkeye, and Natalie Portman is hawt as hell for a chick under 200 pounds and no cock.

I got fucking cold chills watching the Captain America trailer and when I heard the Green Lanterns oath.

I give it a 7 out of 10. Good but not great. Loki as the main bad guy makes sense but couldnt they incorporate a more deadly threat to earth besides a..dont want to be a spoiler. I think Comic Book movies need either great action, special effects or great acting or a combo of the two but this one has pretty good acting and pretty good action. Better than Fantastic Four but not as good as Iron Man 1 and about equal to the 1st X-Men.

You know, does there always have to be a deadly threat to Earth? Some big CGI-created uberdemon that makes stuff fly around everywhere with loud noises and shakey camera shots?

Can't Thor just deal with a really bad case of foot fungus?

I want to see it. I am skeptical after Galactus was a cloud. Oh well.
