I watched this last night on streaming Netflix. A Korean flick that's subtitled...has a very faint Bladerunner tinge to it with a particularly nasty plot (black market organ harvesting among other things). A variation on the Taken, Man on Fire, and The Professional theme. Furman will no doubt jizz in his pants multiple times for all the blade work in it but I found it to be particularly interesting and very well done. The ending plays out particularly well. Definitely worth a watch.

Yes, but not at your level fucker.
There is a great scene where the main cat is trapped upstairs in a building and he looks out a window and doesn't like the idea of jumping out then realizes he can't make it down the stairs...the camera perspective changes immediately as if you're looking through his eyes as he takes off running down the hallway and jumps through/out the window, lands on the ground and is a little fucked up for a moment. Very very well done.

Thanks Shape...
This was pretty good. A little slow to start, but if you watch the thing all the way through, the final fight scenes are wonderful. I like the deal where they don't have a lot of thumping music while the fight happens. Just a tempo and a melody. In fact, it bears watching a second time because I was pretty sure there was a Deus Ex Machina in there toward the end. But no, it's spelled out. I just missed it on the first go 'round.
Also, you'll be annoyed at the guy's haircut to start. Rest assured, he cuts it off when he gets pissed.

Yep. For some strange reason, the guy keeps saying, "tell me about the rabbits, George."BucketHead wrote:Are there rabbits?

I had to play several parts over again because I thought I missed something but as you said, it's laid out well. I've always had a soft spot for foreign films, developed in my later years simply from a desire to see how people might think differently from my own "American" perspective. I was very pleased with the movie and it would stand well with any Hollywood film of the same genre. And I didn't think about the music but you're right Timmah.seeahill wrote:Thanks Shape...
