I’m a big fan of classic Greek stuff and Mickey Rourke, so I watched it.
First the good:
1. Freida Pinto is hot
2. Mickey Rourke is solid as the villain
3. The CGI and special effects were cool.
Other than that, this movie sucks. The screenplay seems to have been written by a 12 year old boy. Think of a bad grindhouse mishmash of Clash of the Titans, 300, Kingdom of Heaven, and The Matrix-- and you have this movie. If the Greek nation has any pride left, they will take a few minutes away from fighting about the future of their bankrupt state and unanimously vote to never allow the writers, directors, and producers of this movie to ever visit their nation. The new standard for fucking up Greek mythology has been set ridiculously high, and this achievement will hopefully never be equaled or even remotely approximated.
