Don't hold up very well.
The gym I work out of goes through about 5 every 3 months. They just aren't very durable.

Re: gymboss timers
Agreed. I've gone through 3 myself when working at a gym. And it's not like I abused the things, they just fell apart from normal use.
With smartphones there's no need for an interval timer anyway. Tons of free aps for that.

I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

The Android application Impetus is a great interval timer and since it's your cell, you don't have to carry another piece of equipment.Alfred_E._Neuman wrote:With smartphones there's no need for an interval timer anyway. Tons of free aps for that.

Re: gymboss timers
I've had mine for over a year, no problems. But, then again, I'm the only one using it.
At my old gym, we went through timers like crazy, the general pop. can't be trusted with electronics that aren't theirs. They view them as disposable.
We used a large boxing timer that we could set for 15, 30, 45 second, or 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 minute intervals or rest periods when working with large groups. Key with those is getting one with a volume control, they can be ridiculously loud.

Disagree. Mine hold up really well. I do seem to lose my fair share, though.
