Dexter

Post by Grandpa's Spells »

My brother's girlfriend gave me a 6 mo. Netflix subscription. I used to have it but it sucked because when I watch a movie I don't want to watch it next week. Streaming improves the service dramatically.

Good thing they only have the first two seasons of Dexter up because I'd probably watch the whole series in a few weeks. Very entertaining show.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

And I can tell you that I have watched it all from the very beginning and just when you think it may be ready to jump the shark, it doesn't. It is just as good now as it was in the very beginning. A fucking awesome show.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Dexter? Lithgow?

While you were away fighting for America in the GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR a show about a serial killer who only kills people who deserve it, has been running on Showtime. We are thankful for your continual vigilance so we can watch these shows in peace.

Unfortunately I do not get Ho-Time. Otherwise I could evaluate it for accuracy. :imsofuckinmad:

You got Netflix?

The first 2 or 3 seasons are available for streaming and the I think you can seasons 4 and 5 via DVD.

It has some weak spots-- some of the characters have zero chemistry with each other-- but overall a definite watch. Yes, John Lithgow is a highlight. So is the character Doakes from the early episodes.

Watched my first episode tonight. I wanted to watch it from the beginning but I don't have netflix and couldn't find it anywhere else so I had to start with season 6. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm hooked.
