I hope US Senators Charles Schumer (D) and Joe Manchin (D) are fucked to death by a Rhino. While we are at it, that goes he rest of the senate, congresss and the people that feel they know what's best for us.
Arms are the only true badge of liberty. The possession of arms is the distinction of the free man from the slave.

I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.

Owl, please. I'm more than capable. I was just curious about the concept of an untouchable marketplace.

Indeed. Tor (The Onion Router) Anonymity Network, is interesting stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, back in the late 90's/early 2000's the Cult of the Dead Cow devised what they called the Six/Four System, which was similar. Basically, there exists a subnetwork of trusted peers, each running a client, and each sharing various encryption keys. Whatever communication happens across that subnetwork is encrypted and the interesting thing, about the CDC's system, is that the algorythm they devised is/was so sturdy and robust, the US Gov't went after them.

Anyway, Tor, "what makes things like SilkRoad work" is similar. You set yourself up with Tor, jack into the SilkRoad, and any and all communication you engage in with any peers on that network you choose, is encrypted, enabling you to communicate, via Tor, with any vendor on the Silk Road Marketplace and ostensibly, buy whatever you want in an untraceable/uneavesdroponable/unfuckwithable manner.

It's pretty cool.

Tor does have weaknesses and vulnerabilities which can be exploited, however (just like any network technology or any other technology in-general).

Jesus Fuck. This sounds like a path to complete underground anarchy. OK by me. Government is becoming completely irrelevant.

Just over a year ago, we broke the story of Silk Road, the underground online market that's like an eBay for illegal drugs. It's been thriving ever since. But as the summer drags on, Silk Road users are becoming increasingly paranoid over a series of unexplained disappearances. And the Drug Enforcement Agency has now revealed it's investigating the site. Is Silk Road really as invincible as it seems?
