Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Post by johno »

My wife said, "Let's go see a popcorn movie." So we saw MI:GP. On IMAX. It was good fun, with some pucker-inducing scenes when Cruise is climbing the world's tallest building.
Simon Pegg brings a good comedic touch and Jeremy Renner is good, as always.
Cruise is Cruise.
The female lead is OK, but on certain camera angles, looks like Dwayne Johnson's effeminate younger brother.
You'll recognize the villain if you have seen original "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Fourth time was the charm? This was easily the best one.

Just saw this yesterday. I'm not an MI or Cruise fan but found this enjoyable. It could be 15 minutes shorter but it was well paced.
