Kenwood Smoothie 2GO
Awesome little smoothie maker. Had it around 6 months now, still going strong. Takes about 20 seconds to make a protein shake. Completely safe- blades are inside the mug, and can only be activated when the mug is in place, so your kids can't chop their fingers off.

Jew,
How much does it cost? I was given a Magic Bullet or whatever that infomercial blender/chopper/food processor is, but the pieces are starting to give out I think.

In England, about 20 quid. I have no idea if they sell it in the US though.

Bah. Godammit.
I didn't see it in the Kenwood Online store and Amazon here doesn't seem to have it when I looked quick earlier on, but it looks like it's on the Amazon UK site.
Looked on ebay and it's only brits.

Is there a difference between a "smoothie maker" and a blender?
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

The latter is bought by women.

I honestly have no idea. I've never tried it out to see what it could blend. I made some milkshakes once, and they turned out shit, but it had no problem blending a snickers bar. Made a horrible noise though.
Now I just use it for protein shakes. The best part about it is that the blender cup has a handle on, so you can literally blend your shake, pop a lid on the jug, and bring it with you. Cleaning involves filling the cup with hot water and soap, and turning the machine on for ten seconds.
