And whether or not Monsanto really lost in the Schmeiser case is unknown-- if the bad publicity damaged their business, and fewer farmers bought Monsanto products in that area-- they lost. If neither of those happened, they won.

You equivocating coward. you really don't know the first thing about the attorney client relationship. Further...they LOST becuase the judgment says they lost...You were the one who brought up legal and moral in the same context.

Stop it Mr. 'I got my degree in paralegal studies from the school Sally talked about'. Nobody is defending Monsanto here. I could care less whether or not Monsanto loses lawsuits-- they have attorneys on retainer and play a different ballgame. Organic farmers have to hire attorneys and pay for them-- it's not a regular business expense for them.

Show me the precedent for what the farmers are trying to do, and then I will be happy to change my mind-- I don't think it exists though.

That is something I will have to find out. Next few yars i am going to be learning an awefull lot, I have not had a garden other than some tomato plants since i was a little boy in Upstate NY.

The woma's grandparents also have huge garden in Fort Valley, like Grandaddy has to use a John Deere tractor to till it. He is the person I will be asking the most about this stuff. He's been growing food since he was a child in the Depression and is one smart guy.

I doubt we will be more than 50% non store dependent for food where we currently live (factoring everything from veggies, fruits and meat) but we still plan on going more towards or even to Forth Valley in the next 2-4 years, then I could get to 80-90% and increase to 100% if thinks get shitty.
