Rdio streaming music for Canadians

Post by WildGorillaMan »

Rhapsody and Spotify are still jumping through the licencing hoops necessary to operate in Canada. The two Canadian agencies that manage music royalties are just as rapacious and extortionary as the US ones, maybe more so.

Long story short, Rdio is up and running in Canada with streaming music.

I'm using the free trial right now. The iPhone app works pretty good.

I'll check in next week and let you know whether I feel like upgrading to the paid service.

The browser interface needs a lot of double clicking to select songs and albums you want to add to your lists, but other than that it's pretty simple. And the iPhone app is very easy to navigate and control.
