The French eat a lot of meat. Which is why their average life expectancy is a mere 80.7 years.
Almost every meal growing up had a meat dish. And veal made right is amazing. And anyone who has ever worked on a dairy farm knows cows deserve to be eaten.

You are full to the gills, and there's still some on your plate. That's a lot.

That's the no-shit truth right there. I grew up on a dairy farm helping my grand dad and uncles as much as a wee bairn could. Cows exist to 1) get out of their fences at the worst possible times of day and in the worst possible weather and 2) kick the shit out of you when you walk behind them in the milking barn.

We moved over to beef cattle once my grand dad got too old to run the dairy and my uncles had no interest in continuing the twice a day/365 milking.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

If God didn't mean us to eat meat, he wouldn't have made it taste so good.

Whole fresh raw.

Exercise some discretion, and exercise.

I never been kicked, but the most annoying thing was having a cow be a bitch and whip you with her tail for no reason. Especially if it was wet. Cows like to lay in mud (when it's hot out) even more than pigs do.

Worst times ever: Having technical difficulties with the electric fence over a couple summers and having multiple "breakouts", usually when the whole family was gone to a party on a Sunday afternoon or something.

Actually the worst time ever was when I hadd to run the farm by myself for a week, and the barn cleaner broke. Milked twice a day, took care of my siblings, and still drove 40 miles one way daily to keep attending college classes.

I'm short on time, patience and maybe reading comprehension. For me, ("experiment of one" and all that,) careful on the starchy/sweet carbs has been better than "don't eat anything that had a face or products from it." Anyone (FRKCTL?) care to give the Readers Digest treatment to Taubes' latest ?
