Type: Cocktail
Primary alcohol by volume: Gin

Served: Straight up; without ice
Standard garnish: Olive or lemon peel
Standard drinkware: Cocktail Glass (Martini)
IBA specified ingredients:
55 ml (1.85 ounces) gin
15 ml (0.5 ounce) dry vermouth

Preparation: Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain in chilled martini cocktail glass. Squeeze oil from lemon peel onto the drink, or garnish with olive.

Tanqueray Rangpur makes a good Martini, if you are in the mood for a twist rather than olives.
