they will probably start with concussions until the autopsy is released. Was Junior a big fan of alcohol, painkillers etc?Drew0786 wrote:Where will the media blame fall concussions or steroids?
Also, he shot himself in the chest. This can't be normal. Do you think he wanted his brain saved so it could be studied?

He probably smoked weed. Suicidal ideation and being a great footballer are known side-effects of the dope.....Drew0786 wrote:Where will the media blame fall concussions or steroids?

That is what Dave Duerson did. He committed suicide last year. He was a former NFL player as well.Jonny Canuck wrote: Also, he shot himself in the chest. This can't be normal. Do you think he wanted his brain saved so it could be studied?

And specifically said he was shooting himself in the chest so his brain could be studied (for the effects of repeated concussions).Drew0786 wrote:That is what Dave Duerson did. Junior Seau, Derrick Thomas, Reggie White, Sam Mills, I'm sure I'm omitting a couple two, some of the premier defensive players of the 90s all gone now. Very sadd.
Re: Junior Seau RIP
I've worked the door at a couple bars in North County SD for a few years and Jr would come in every once in a while, last time being about a month ago. I never really talked to him but he seemed like a chill guy.
He's a San Diego icon and will be missed.

He and his family used to play ball at Buccaneer Beach. He and the guys from Samoan Security. Jr's sister is as big or bigger than he is.
