Fucking hell. I grew up in Omaha. Good people in the middle world. Huskers, beer guzzling babes, La Casa Pizza, cheap drinks at the millions of bars in the city, Henry Dorley Zoo, College World Series, eating fried catfish and hushpuppies at the Surfside on the Missouri River while watching boaters moon you. Enjoy!

I have thus far been amazed at the friendliness. I mean, I've been coming here for work for years, but just started living here. I returned the moving truck and shook hands with 3 people in the process.
Is La Casa better than Big Fred's?

La Casa is the best in my opinion. It is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Their crust is just about perfect, but I like a thin crust. Big Fred's is good too but given the choice I'll take La Casa's all day long.

Glad to hear you are having a good experience moving! If you like where you are living you have half the battle whooped. Congrats!

Still Godfather's around? That used to be a mainstay for lunch when I worked in Lincoln and during college. The cheeseburger pizza sounds disgusting, but is awesome.

I've always liked Big Fred's, but it's a Lexus compared to La Casa's Ferrari.

Lansky's Chicken Alfredo is so damned good I have a hard time ever ordering anything else when it comes to pizza.

Went to the Twin Peaks here a couple nights ago. Food average. Talent, far better than I expected. If they have one in your town, I recommend it.
