You expect me to believe that? Just hate who has the most muslims and you'll be fine. I think the Serbs have a lot left before they started coming to Michigan.

Yugoslavia was not in the Soviet sphere of influence after 1948, and Tito was a founding member of the Organization of Nonaligned Countries. They did not receive military or financial aid from the USSR from 1948 on.

Thanks, professor. I was suggesting that if people have an interest in conflicts in that general neighborhood, that book is worth picking up.

As I remember the idea behind the picture was that only Tito could hold the area together. IMHO (and I'm only marginally educated on teh conflicts) this captures it as well as anything.

i believe tito's forces had our back during ww ii

my old man was shot down in that part of the world in '44. picked up by partisans, he was shipped across the adriatic to his base in italy in a fishing boat. he was back to dropping bombs shortly after.
