An Oklahoma man suspected in a brutal home invasion -- already facing a murder charge for allegedly killing an elderly woman -- could face additional charges after the death last week of her husband, a D-Day veteran.

Bob Strait, a 90-year-old Tulsa resident, died on Friday, and a medical examiner is determining his cause of death, News On 6 reports.

He was injured March 13 when, police say, Tyrone Woodfork, 20, entered the house and attacked, allegedly beating and sexually assaulted Strait's 85-year-old wife, Nancy Strait, who died two days later. The couple had been married for 65 years.

Once upon a time there would not have even been a trial, just a rope or a hail of bllets if he tried to run. Wich is why the animals knew it was best to prey upon their own kind.

Might not have been "fair" but it worked better for the majority of people.

What wouldn't be fair about it? I can't think of a way to kill him that would be fair enough.

It would be ashamed if he fought back in custody and needed to be physically restrained or if he was found dead in his jail cell with no witnesses.

I was refering to before the mid 1960s where no one would even question this fucker getting done with a rope over a tree, tied to neck while standing on the tailgate of a pickup that then drives away , leaving him to swing.

I remember a few years ago in New York there was some punk who did something like rape a little girl. If I remember correctly, the local gangs let the police know that they should probably not look that hard for a few days and perhaps the rapist would disappear forever.

I have been to Oklahoma a bit and it is as redneck as they come - it should be easy to pack the jury with some nice boys who will agree that justice should be hard and swift. They also are not shy to kill prisoners - this guy is done for sure though it's a shame that it will not be as cruel and unusual as possible.

Tyrone is a Scottish name. Lots of pasty Okies to comb through to find the right one.

My old Sensei was a street cop, a damn good and fair one by all evidence and he said that at least when he was a cop in the 70s and 80s there were 2 kind of justice, Legal and Street justice and a good cop understood (and sometimes utilised) the latter. In his day some assholes used to like to drop trash cans, bricks or cinderblocks on cops off of buildings in the NYC and outlinging area. He said more than a few assholes like that got flying lessons from rooftops.

Somtimes guys who burnt little kids got their asses beat the fuck out of and told that if they try to file a brutality complaint than the guards down at Rikers would be told that the Perp had "Short eyes". He said that was a death sentence back then, once the other inmates got the word the fucker would be done for.

This is pretty much where I am. At the time I didn't mind a bit, but you see shit like this and it's sobering.

Every time I go anywhere outside of First World countries, I get more respect for the degree to which the rule of law applies here.

Shit is situational, most here would break the law for the right reasons, some here for the wrong reasons and maybe one or two (Lurkers probably) might out of pure malice, Cops are people therefore not much different, just with more per capita power trip issues than most. You dont want "Street Justice" to be legal or shit would truly get bad but you do want "Street Justice" ignored or half heartedly investigated from time to time. When a 6 year old boy has the burnt imprint of the electric stove's burner on his little hand because Momma's shitbird boyfriend got mad, (And the fucker all but admits it or respondes to the Cop with a Thug attitude about it) you let officer friendly (especially if he has kids) work him over as he see's fit. His photo is posted. He seems to have two healthy eyes. He probably has a pair of kidneys, a pancreas, a liver, small and large intestine, bones, and other organ transplant material. Too bad he can't be put to sleep and then parted out like a car in a chop shop. He could save the lives of several people - be the most useful thing he would accomplish in his young life.
