Why was the US military teaching 'total war' on Islam?

America's top military officer has condemned a course taught about Islam at one of America's top military schools as "totally objectionable".

It is not surprising. The story, first broken by Wired, is fairly astonishing, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, must be furious.

The course taught officers there was no such thing as moderate Islam and that they should consider the religion their enemy.

It advocated "total war" against all the world's Muslims, including possible nuclear attacks on the holy cities of Mecca and Medina and the wiping out civilian populations.

Well, we did the same with the USSR for decades and it never came down to it nuking them. I would be pretty disappointed if the armed forces hadn't at least considered it.

Yeah, that was what I thought. I would have hoped these contingency plans were in place just in case, and it doesn't hurt to think through what a scenario like this would look like if it actually came down to being a reality.

Shit, we have contingency plans for invading Canada. I like that we're prepared.

I flipped through the two documents floating around the Internet. One was actually an interesting read through what 'jihad' means. Summary is, essentially, that a small segment of the Muslim population uses religious terminology to rationalize their violent attacks on anybody who disagrees - it differentiates fairly clearly between religious jihad and blowing up people.

I haven't come across the part that every article emphasizes about the US Military planning to kill all 1.4b Muslims as a response.

Trooper has heard generals advocate some of the same things I have pontificated on here. Because we could do it.

Rememebr in Isalm "All things are as God wills them." They had a major crisis of faith when Armstrong walked on the Moon because in Islam "You can not touch the face of God. " In Islam God lives on the fucking moon folks. This is one of the major reasons that the biggest percent of Moon landing denirers and conspiracy theorist is in the M.E. (That and there are some stupid fucks out there and then you have people with decent I.Q."s but bad, little to no education.)

You vaporize Mecca and Medina and there would be a HUGE crissis of faith in the Islamic world.

You couple that with air assults on their airfrilds and army bases and a massive PsyOps campaign where you override all transmissions in the region (We can do this and have been able for about 40 years) telling them that God speaks through us and He has found them wanting and they must repent and accepts our dominion, well much like they did when Muhamid invaded their asses, they just might.

If not, level every city or town with a population of above 2,000 people. Destroy every port and all electrical plants and Oil dericks then what do they have? A bunch of fucking sand and famine.

Total War is not some shit I dreamed up folks, it is a warfare doctrine that is very old at it's core and has been revissed all through out history and is still on the minds of Generals an dAdmirals who think about winning over keeping these stupid little games going. Scipio, Caesar, Napolian, Sherman, Haig, Eisenhower and MacArthur all used the doctirne in practice at times

I think we have become to much like a fucking superhero, aaffraid to kill off our enemy like Bat-man or Spider- Man. How many times does Bat man have to fight the Joker? Spiddy the Green Goblin?

We need to be more like the Punisher. He does not fight the same villian twice if he can help it, he kills them at every oppertunity.

We should only have levels of warfare. Punitive raids, Invassions and Annihlations, not liberations and Police actions or just dont go to fucking war unless you are willing to ass rape or slit the throat of the enemy, fuckif his feelings and fuck his children.
