So, Rush....

Re: So, Rush....
I've seen Flamenco played up close before ( I lived in So Fla for years ) and it is pretty cool, I'm in awe of people who can use their right hand that way. Fingerpicking is pretty hit or miss for me right but I've allways had a little hybrid picking thing going here and there
My Grandpa and I used to listen to his reel to reel tapes of Sagovia, that was some sick playing as well.
As for Lynot it was a shame. I hate Horse as it robs us of so many otherwise great people.

Me. They're terrible.powerlifter54 wrote:who says their lyrics suck?
No, I shouldn't generalize. The lyrics I've been hearing on the radio for the past 25+ years are amateurish. Lofty but awkward. But they've written a lot of songs since, that I know nothing about. They've probably gotten better.
This thread has gotten me interested in giving them more of a look than I ever have before. I just put together this mp3 mix for myself, of their instrumentals:
1. R30 Overture
2. 2112 overture
3. 2112 finale
4. La Villa Strangiatco
5. YYZ
6. Where's My Thing?
7. Leave That Thing Alone
8. Limbo
9. The Main Monkey Business
10. Hope
11. Malignant Narcissism
12. They played Bangkok
Runs about 55 mins. Some good stuff (I've only listened to it once so far). Anyone wants a copy, PM me.
