Needed a new pair of Asics so I walk in at the same time as some lady and her two little kids. The oldest couldn't have been more than 7. Anyway she says to the salesman, "I need to get them sneakers for Xfit". I couldn't fuckin believe it. Within 5 minutes she has the oldest kid doing box jumps on the bench people use to try on shoes. I left and came back to make a purchase later. I couldn't be in the same room with that dumbfuckery going on. Even a few people who I thought had their wits about them are now gushing about how cool it is etc. The local affiliate was making atlas stones the other day. I am curious to know what they plan on doing with them unless they are made of paper machet. If they are heavy, I am sure I will see a spike in foot fracture business.
