Past few weeks I've been accessing IGX during work hours, while on the work VPN. Today this:

Oops.

Well, I was curious how closely our traffic was monitored. Now I have some idea.

Back to the grindstone, I guess....

Stop wasting the resources of your corporate masters. You should be ashamed of yourself.

You using IE or Firefox? If IE, try Firefox - there's a bug most don't know about in certain versions of certain VPN clients which will route non-VPN traffic out over the web directly.

Also, if you're jonesing for porn, most URL filtering servers permit you to go to google, search images, with safe search off. You could always do some tasty screen snips, and send them onto the IT guys. This "hole" in the fabric really pisses them off. I've seen idiot tech managers spend literally weeks of their time trying to figure out how to stop this.

Another good trick: setup WATIR on your work PC, get a list of a few thousand porn sites, and program WATIR to sequentially cycle through the list, one after the other. This will drive the IT guys batty, and they'll want to examine your machine. Remove WATIR, empty your cache, and let them look at it. They'll of course find nothing.
