Which ones do the bonfires? I'd say pallets are fucking expensive round those parts. For them that pay.

Yeah, it's the pro-British, Orange or Ulstermen that do the bonfires. But the really eerie thing, I'm told, is the drums. I needed lengthy explanation to understand some of the history and symbolism of things like the Red Hand of Ulster, or why people who support a foreign government are called Loyalists. But....that's Ireland.
I will say, putting all BS aside, I've never been somewhere with more friendly people though.
