When you think about the happiness I bring women, is it really too much to ask? The times must get with me.

In fairness to the poor, those prices don't factor in the value of time spent in the kitchen instead of getting drunk on the front porch.

Beans are wonderful if prepared correctly, like all food. And pinto beans cost a lot less than $2. You can get a pound here for $1.29.

Fighting back.
You’d think that Starbucks, Dippin’ Dots and 7-Eleven would approach a heat wave with dollar signs in mind. Instead, all three chains are offering cool freebies this week, starting with Free Slurpee Day Wednesday.
