the first part was cool

then the super smart neuroscientist female lead does nothing except worry and hold onto the new Jason Bourne for the rest of the movie

they never use her brains, she never gets naked, she never shows any wit or savvy at all. she is just a deer in the headlights.

the Ed Norton character is one-dimensional as well, which was a real waste of Norton's talent

the whole movie is basically a gigantic chase, with no real use of skill from either of the lead characters

there are no twists or turns, the whole plot is laid out clearly up front and nothing new happens

they just run and run and run

the last quarter of the movie is one looooong boring moped chase and the bad guy is a nobody you've never heard of, with no real reason to pay attention to

then, he crashes. and the movie is over. And the audience all sat in their seats like, uhhhh, is it over?

Renner was cool. The next one could be great if they have a better writer or director or whtaever.

I was hoping it would hold up to the original trilogy, but had serious doubts.
I'll wait for HBO or Nutflix.

Man, this is very disappointing. I am a huge fan of the original trilogy, I own them, and had high hopes for this one. I really like Renner and think he does well as this new character in the series. I'll have to check it out when it comes out on dvd. I haven't been to a movie in years.

Renner is cool, Rachel Weisz is pretty hot IMO, Ed Norton hasn't been good since American History X.

I'm sure the estrogen therapy he's going through in his transition from a man to a woman is the main reason but the Kashi certainly has something to do with it. You can't fuck around with this stuff.
