Speaking of rape and pitbulls...
The investigation continues into Sunday’s bizarre dog attack involving a pit bull and a 2-year-old boy.

Lockport Police Detective Capt. Larry Eggert said they are interviewing more witnesses in the case and meeting with dog behavioral experts to try and figure out what motivated the dog to sexually assault a young boy.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. in a Washburn Street apartment. The dog, a 2-year-old pit bull named Bear, reportedly sodomized the boy during the attack.

Eggert said the boy’s mother was in another room when the incident occurred.

“She left the baby alone for a short period of time,” he said. “She heard a scream, she ran in the room and saw the dog and the boy.”

The woman began yelling at the dog, which spooked it, causing it to run outside, still attached to the boy, Eggert said.

The dog dragged the boy out onto the porch, where neighbors saw what was happening, he said.

“They heard the mother screaming,” Eggert said. “Together they were able to disentangle the dog and the boy.”

The toddler was taken to Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where he remains after having surgery Sunday night. Eggert said he may need further reconstructive surgery in the future.

Niagara County SPCA Executive Director Al Chille said the dog was still being held at the facility on Tuesday and will remain there pending the police investigation.

The pit bull had been with the family for two years and had no history of aggression, Eggert said.

Oh, and LOL at these delusional freaks:
the dog is being held at the Niagara County SPCA for evalution. An animal behavior specialist is scheduled to evaluate the pitbull on Friday.

Since the attack, over 20 people have called the SPCA asking to adopt the pitbull

Conclusions—Although fatal attacks on humans appear to be a breed-specific problem (pit bull-typedogs and Rottweilers), other breeds may bite and cause fatalities at higher rates. Because of difficulties inherent in determining a dog’s breed with certainty, enforcement of breed-specific ordinances raises constitutional and practical issues. Fatal attacks represent a small proportion of dog bite injuries to humans and, therefore, should not be the primary factor drivingpublic policy concerning dangerous dogs. Many practical alternatives to breed-specific ordinances exist and hold promise for prevention of dog bites. (J Am VetMed Assoc2000;217:836–840)
And if you read the fucking data, so called "protection type dogs" (Dobies,German Shepards and the like) comprised nearly as many incidents of (53) DBRFs.

AND...the data was culled the Human Society and FROM FUCKING NEWS CLIPPINGS.

AND.......OH SHIT! the CDC drew a conclusion based on the research..ZOMG.
A CDC study on fatal dog bites lists the breeds involved in fatal attacks over 20 years (Breeds of dogs involved in fatal human attacks in the United States between 1979 and 1998 Adobe PDF file). It does not identify specific breeds that are most likely to bite or kill, and thus is not appropriate for policy-making decisions related to the topic. Each year, 4.7 million Americans are bitten by dogs. These bites result in approximately 16 fatalities; about 0.0002 percent of the total number of people bitten. These relatively few fatalities offer the only available information about breeds involved in dog bites. There is currently no accurate way to identify the number of dogs of a particular breed, and consequently no measure to determine which breeds are more likely to bite or kill.
The richness of an illegitimate turk bastard such as yourself casting assignations. My White ancestors were here before the fucking Mayflower, you churl.
Oh, you were quoting some studies you pulled out of your ass from pro-pittie groups. Surprise, surprise. I was quoting an actual study, not a pitbull-breeders propaganda piece for naive white trash twits like yourself to latch on to (much like your pitbull will inevitably latch onto a childs limbs and land you in jail for 20 years)

And who the hell asked you about your white trash genetically inferior ancestors? Your family tree is more like a long turd with undigested corn kernels in it, spiraling inside the toilet bowl of existence. Nothing to be proud of, goober.

Liberal media bias. I am sure that poodles and collies kill people every day though do we hear about it?

Yorkshire terriers are a favourite of gay media liberals who hate America and freedom. Not ONE story about their numerous maulings of wheelchair users and children. We're being run by a gay eleet.

Seeing eye dogs are attacked and mauled by other dogs all the time - though a pitbull does it and it makes the news.
Orlando was mauled by a pit-bull type dog in separate incidents in May and June, sustaining serious injuries which meant his owner, Kevin Nugent, couldn’t go out or go to work while his guide recovered.

The vet told the family that Powder's injuries looked consistent with the dog having been dragged under the fence, into the neighbor's yard.

Bustos describes Lady as a family dog who sleeps at the foot of a 10-month-old baby's crib. She has never displayed aggression toward other dogs or people.
