I was Taken 2 the movies over the weekend...
Basically a gratuitous flick of over the top violence, shootings and car chases to capitalize on the success of Taken and make Liam Neesan and Maggie Grace some more coin.
Enjoyable - yes
Predictable - yes
earth-shatteringly new or different - no

According to Daniel Tosh the prequel they're working on called "Took" will be even better.

This movie, and I'm being very generous, was the cinematic equivalent of a traumatic head injury. Much like a stroke victim, I watched with a growing mixture of anger and confusion.

I have bumped the other/original Taken 2 thread as you're a horrible person for not checking in the first place. But, you're forgiven.
T2 blew. While "Taken" tore at the soul of my being along the lines of "Man on Fire", T2 was a bunch of forced horse pucky. I'm sure Target will have this dvd on sale at an end cap for $5 soon, so I will buy it and put it in my collection of mindless bullshit.....but it will be way down the list of 'watch agains'....way down.
'Kimmy' (I hate that name.....Kim is fine, but Kimmy????) looks like a 33y/o forced into a 19y/o character, too.....just sayin.
