So what's the right way to think about the whole Romney vs Obama Navy issue? I don't want to hear about Iran or Israel or whatever, I just want to hear about boats, horses, bayonets, etc, because I think some of the people here have that unique first-hand perspective on this issue that neither side's pundits are going to actually talk about.

Don't forget that Virginia is a swing state-- there are a lot of jobs associated with the Navy.
