7-[(1x0)+3/3] would be 6. With no parens or brackets it has to be done linerally.
7-1=6, X0 =0, =3=3/3=1
7-(1x0)+(3/3)=8

Without parentheses, you still prioritize the multiplication and division before adding and subtracting. All operations left to right.

Its parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.

Yes, Syaigh is right. Google BODMAS for the explanation. I wasn't sure myself with there being no brackets.

In IGx story problem form:

Take the average number of trips that the TacoTamer takes through the line at an Old Country Buffet in a thirty minute period. Subtract from this one multiplied by Pinky's annual contribution to IGx. Add to this the number of jars of vaseline Gav rubbed on Timmah divided by the number of jars of vaseline Timmah rubbed on Gav. What is the answer?

Politicians always solve those math problems the best way. Rounding off by a trillion or so.
Obama's narcissism and arrogance is only superseded by his naivete and stupidity.
