come on prop 64

In summary, Amendment 64:
- makes the personal use, possession, and limited home-growing of marijuana legal for adults 21 years of age and older;
- establishes a system in which marijuana is regulated and taxed similarly to alcohol;
- and allows for the cultivation, processing, and sale of industrial hemp.

Fingers crossed. It will hopefully spread like wildfire once implemented in any one place. Here in Denmark the majority is open for legalization as far as I recall, but the politicians are scared shitless and their only 'arguments' are either (illogical) moral or bad science, just like over most of the world I'm sure.
Prohibition is a good example of doing the wrong things for the wrong reasons.
There is a vast difference between treating effects and adjusting the causes.

Sounds like a good idea but guaranteed the local, state and feds will inundate it all wilh permits, fees, taxes and government agencies to drive the price to the consumer through the roof. Better to leave it illegal and make the drug cops stop their meaningless work and get real jobs as garbage collectors or something.
Obama's narcissism and arrogance is only superseded by his naivete and stupidity.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
