As a conservative voter in the absolutely gorgeous but completely fucked up State of New York, my vote for president is useless, but I still do it, just to say I did. While I'm there, casting my completely ineffectual vote in national elections, I also participate in local elections, in which my vote may count. And I get a really cool sticker to wear on my shirt for the rest of the day.
