Best NFL color commentator...

Post by seeahill »

I like Chris Collinsworth with Boomer as a close second. Both are heavy on pass patterns and QB work.

I actually ("BOOM") miss John Madden. Guy liked the play on the line.

I think Collinsworth is the best in the game.

I volunteered at Madden's muscular dystrophy (sp?) charity event years ago. We were, under no circumstances, allowed to talk to John Madden.

A lot of guys from the Raiders, 49'ers etc were there and were very cool.

That big motherfucking ogre Madden though... don't even fucking look at him.

Fuck John Madden.

The fact he got so moist over Brett Fav-ruh pissed me off too.

Neither of those guys are colored. I'm gonna go with James Brown.

Oh heck, not Al Michaels? Just because he's a play by play guy and not color. And Jewish?

I don't really watch the NFL but heard Collinsworth on a podcast some time back and he struck me as a guy who would be good at what he does.

Collingsworth is one of the top 50 most hated men in America and with good reason.....he is fucking annoying. I do however, enjoy mocking him and have cooked-up a pretty good impression of him if I do say so myself.

PL54's choices are good. I like Rich Gannon, too. Rich actually lives about two minutes from me but I don't know him other than bumping into him at the gas station once in awhile.

I think Bob Costas and Joe Buck are in a plastic surgery contest.

Stram-- he didn't say much and he knew to let the best in the business do his thing.

I'm a Chuckie fan myself. His enthusiasm is off the charts, but he backs it up with solid knowledge.

Saw a segment on him where they showed him out with his wife at an arena league game. He was blasting the refs as hard as any drunk Iggles fan ever thought about doing. His wife had her head buried in embarrassment. He just can't turn it off.

He critiques offense and defenses with things I've never heard others mention. Doesn't pull any punches. He needs to get back into coaching. As much as I disliked Jimmie Johnson as a college coach, he always seemed to produce winners too.

apparently gruden once considered moving to oregon to take an assistant's job for the ducks so he could learn chip kelly's offense. chuckie loves football more than mickey loves pussy. his enthusiasm is winning.

Gruden lived less than 10 minutes from me when he was coaching the Raiders.

I never ran into him, probably because he only slept like 3 hours a night, but I always heard he was a really cool dude.

I'm good with Chuckie, Collinsworth (fuck the haters), Michaels, Aikman.

Of the active guys, the only one I really can't fucking stand is Buck.

Buck sucks.

Aikman is good, Collingsworth is good but I want to punch him in the jaw.

Madden was annoying as shit, fuck him and his Boom shit. He was almost as worn out as Berman on ESPN with his 30 year old lines.

Gruden needs to coach again.

Fuck off Jay. Gruden doesn't need to coach again.

If he goes back to coaching, we'll get Emmitt Smith or some other half wit retard back in the booth.

Gruden belongs in coaching...

And if Emmitt goes in a booth again, I will boycott that station.

Emmitt is my favorite player of all time, but fuuuuuuuck me sideways. He talks like Darf types.

I would also like to profess how uncomfortable Joe Theisman makes me. Ever since he started hocking those prostate pills or whatever it was.

LOL. I probably do the opposite.

I'd probably watch more NFL if Lundquist/Danielson and Musberger/Herbstreit called games.
