Fifties Road Trip

Post by Alfred_E._Neuman »

For those interested in bikes and vintage British machines like I am. A series of photos of a guy's dad on tour through England and Europe on a Vincent in the 50's.

WELCOME TO A SERIES OF NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED PHOTOGRAPHS OF A CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE TOUR OF THE UK AND CONTINENT.

In 1951, my Father, John Carr Winter (JCW) bought a brand new Vincent Motorcycle (NMB213) straight off the production line from the factory in Stevenage,Herts - and secured it with a £5 deposit!

I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

I was actually going to post that vid.

Richard Thompson is playing in Savannah this April. My wife and I are going to head over. Don't have a Vincent but we might take a Triumph over.
