Ratrods are not within my own sphere of motounderstanding but he seems to have done right by that motor. Tight lines, low slop. Any plans for the motor? tell me he plans to do crank swap and make a twingle.

Stock motor, custom pipes.
The ratrod aesthetic comes of economic necessity, higher ROI.

Bike porn to me. I love bobbers/cafe racers, I've wanted a rat bobber for a long time. Nice bikes!

Excellent work by the Beefy Jr's. I'm a Cafe racer lover myself, but like the look of a clean bobber.
I've been reading an account of a guy who built a replica of an Excelsior board track bike from just a photo and an engine case. You or your boys might enjoy it:

I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

Bikes and Four-wheelers

are still a sideline.
Drew and his fiancee' moved to Phoenix to a pursue an opportunity that doesn't seem to be working out. I expect them (and a grandbaby-- hope to have it genderized tomorrow) back in Ohio by this summer. It's the boys' hope and dream to go into business together and do custom work full-time. The next year or so will tell.

Wish I had the time/money/and space to do a resto-rod on either a Triumph Bonneville or Norton Commando from the early 70's. I'd like to do a period Cafe Racer.
May just have to buy a Thruxton and rod it out a little with pipes, cams, and bars.
