Vitamix has been (until now) the one thing that can do what you're describing the Nutribullet can do: practically liquefy stuff. But it's mainly chef's tool; my brother uses one all the time at work.High Velocity Lie-Nap! wrote:I've seen the Vitamix demos at Costco 50x and that machine looked like an overpriced and oversized pain in the ass (some would say that about me, however).

Re: Nutribullet
I've had a VitaMix for >15 years. Wife uses it daily. Perhaps the single best consumer product we've ever purchased. Cleanup does not require being a co-conspirator to violate US Immigration laws and is in fact very quick and simple. However, if the Nutribullet can in fact do the same thing(s), I think it is much more economical on initial purchase price. (I say initial b/c I wonder if the thing just drops dead sooner requiring replacement, etc., whereas the VitaMix would just keep on trucking.)High Velocity Lie-Nap! wrote:Right....but your bro has got a slew of Mexicans who do the dishes.Grandpa's Spells wrote:Vitamix has been (until now) the one thing that can do what you're describing the Nutribullet can do: practically liquefy stuff. Only if you overfill it or if there are problems with the gasket (which would be pretty easy to see)-- and you can overfill it with solids, just not liquids.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:Reviews are saying there are issues with leaking sometimes. Still haven't picked one up

Turdly tip o' the day-- adding half a lemon or lime to any recipe kills nasty greens taste.nafod wrote:Seriously, the greens don't cause it to taste like total crap-ola? I like veggies, but some of the recipes look a little crazy on the website. Didn't see any with sawdust or concrete chips on the list.

Shapebaby,Shapecharge wrote:Nappy you lying piece of dogmeat! I got on the scales this morning and I put on twelve fucking pounds in one week drinking these shakes from this machine you conned me into buying. WTF?? I can't fit into my skinny jeans. I did exactly like the little book said...half of the container was greens, like lettuce, spinach, etc. then the other half with fruits and stuff. So I used some things we had like strawberries, part of a banana, blueberries, blackberries and then to add some flavor and protein, a snickers bar, a scoop of ice cream, and a big tablespoon of Nutella. You never said anything about the weight gain. I didn't think lettuce and spinach had that many calories so guys if you get this blender thingy be careful with the geens because they are loaded and it will put weight on you.
As long as your Nutribullet doesn't leak per The Shafbama's scandalous lie-reviews, I feel that you should stay the course, but do try substituting peanutbutter cups for the Snickers every fourth shake.

I don't know anything about any stinking leaking and anyone who would foster such RUMORS should receive a bare bottom spanking with a ping pong paddle. (Shaf, call me.)
On a more serious note I did pick up this little tid-bit and maybe Quack if he's still around and you fuckers haven't pissed him off can chime-in on: it appears that RAW cruciferous veretables e.g. kale, collard greens, brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower etc. can possibly have a negative effect on thyroid function. From what I gather, if it is functioning on the low end of the scale...these types of veggies eaten raw can drive it even lower. Now don't start calling me a dick if this isn't completely true but I read it. Here's just one link:
