Do you find the safety to be useable? I thought about ordering a Shield but decided not to because the best thing I heard about the safety was that it's difficult to activate on accident.
The safety takes effort to use - there's no automatic sweep-on/sweep-off with it. That also means it can be left off without too much fear, but if I were going to carry it I'd probably remove the safety - there are videos online of how to do so.
