Lance coming clean not a big deal to me. What would make my day is for Carl Lewis to have to come clean.

He couldn't get it all in the Oprah interview. He'll be discussing that part of his life in the Gingrich interview.Blaidd Drwg wrote:Lance's next move should be a partly tongue in cheek redux of American Psycho...including a new scene where he breaks up with Cheryl Crow because she has cancer.

Could you imagine the bloodbath if Track and Field was forced to open up?

I do wonder if EPO gets used in Motocross...it would certainly help.

LULZ
Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong is so disgraced that he disgraces the word disgrace. He has sued so many close friends, roommates, teammates, business partners, associates, and others that he recently said he could not recall the number, or even confirm if he had or had not sued certain individuals when asked by name.
Apparently among those he threated to sue is at least one figure from the MMA world.
Chael Sonnen recently appeared on the Jim Rome show, and revealed that he was one of the countless figures that Lance Armstrong threatened to sue, after he said Lance gave himself cancer on an interview with Pro MMA Radio.
Two days later Sonnen flatly denied ever having said a word about Lance Armstrong.
Now the Gangster from Oregon wants to talk about Armstrong, but chiefly to dismiss media references to the cyclist as a "bully."
“Why are they calling him a bully? That’s what I can’t wrap my mind brain around,” said Sonnen. “Lance is a dweeb, the only thing he’s missing is the tape on the glasses and the high water pants.”
“Who is he bullying? The guy the holding the cups of water at mile marker 6? The old lady that swerves into the bike lane? I don’t even understand the whole thing.”
“I felt it, after coming on your show. He threatened to sue me and I threated to kick his ass. And the whole thing went away,” said Sonnen.

Carlin went 3 for 3 on that call. Awesome.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

An apology of this sort could be well-crafted but is so far after the event that it isn't going to matter. If anything, the vilinazation of Armstrong is going to show people not to admit anything unless they have already sold out their teammates as a part of a plea bargain.
A. Burfoot had an interesting piece on Armstrong, saying things that nobody else wants to say - that he likely would have used PEDs if they had been readily available when he was competing.

I don't think that Armstrong is as damaged as people believe. His name continues to be a major, if damaged, brand and he commands a media presence no matter what he does. I could imagine that there are a good number of companies that are planning to approach him when this blows over a bit - he isn't going to receive near the $30m that he was getting from sponsors a few years back but he will get paid. A book would sell millions and I would be shocked if people weren't bidding on film rights.
