Old brit show about an disgruntled assassin/spy. Only four main characters: the title character, his boss, his ambitious and younger partner, and a guy he uses for odd jobs called Lonely. Well done drama. The relationship between Callan and Lonely really makes the show. Fans of Sandbaggers will like it. The last two seasons are on Netflix.

I've never seen Sandbaggers but it seems an awful lot to ask that I watch Sandbaggers to figure out whether I would want to watch CAllan.

I saw it years ago on USA cbale when I was 12. I was a huge Equalizer fan and I saw Edward Woodward and checked it out. Onme of the best Judo scenes I ever saw.
