Two weeks to the Italian general election, and now the Pope quits. I think there are going to be more nervous breakdowns and heart attacks among Italian journalists over the next few days than ever before.

As always, feverish speculation as to whether the first black Pope will be named.
That'll go over big with the pikeys.

Andy could just tell us who he's going to appoint to be Pope next, but he doesn't want to ruin the surprise.

If it happens (and contrary to what the media says, there have been several black Popes), my guess is that only the conservatives will be happy. The Episcopal Church is case and point.Kazuya Mishima wrote:As always, feverish speculation as to whether the first black Pope will be named.

Re: Pope quitting
Ok, some quick google juicing reveals some truth about this nigger pope business. Seems the only people pushing the idea of ancient schwoogie popes are revisionists and Afro-centric types looking for anything to hang their nigger hat on. These are the same types who claim that Alexander Dumas was black, when in reality he was a quadroon. They want to give the credit for those great books to his quarter niggerness and ignore all that non-ape blood coursing through his veins.

There have been several black popes? Who?

Pope Victor I was the first bishop of Rome born in the Roman Province of Africa: probably he was born in Leptis Magna (or Tripolitania). He was later canonized. His feast day is celebrated on 28 July as "St Victor I, Pope and Martyr".[2]
I don't know that it necessarily makes him black, but he was African.

He was about as black as Charlize Theron. There were citizens of the Roman Empire camped out all over Africa in that era. Victor = not the nigra.Jezzy Bell wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Victor_I

Re: Pope quitting
Yeah, but here's the deal. In Latin "Africa" referred to North Africa--which was an important part of the Roman Empire--subsaharan Africa was known as Aethiopia. There were a couple of Berber popes, but none that were truly "black" in the way that you and I would think of them.Jezzy Bell wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Victor_I

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Re: Pope quitting
If I remember my history right, in the early Church, the important non-Europeans tended to be ethnically Greek. A pope who was not from the Latin and Greek origin was a huge deal.
But more to my main point-- people who are salivating for a black pope for PC reasons are likely not going to like it if they get one.

Re: Pope quitting
Well, I'm calling the President of the US a nigger at the moment, so we might as well have a Pope that I can call a nigger too. Difference is, I actually liked the office of the President. At least until they let it go to pot what with these Chicongoland community organizer types they'll let hold the office nowadays. That and their uppity bitch wives trying to get all up in someone's school lunch business and shit. Saucer lipped, chimp faced, cunt is what I say about that one.
Now the Pope...that's the biggest bullshit racket on the face of the planet. The Dalai Lama is a distant second compared to that fucking funny hat business. A billion stinking primates calling you father this, and father that. Your very own untouchable nation state that was bought and paid for with the blood of innocents during WW2.
