I need help remembering the name of an animated TV special from the early 80s, it might have even been from late 70s.
Here's what I recall...
- There was an old guy hiding alone in a castle or fortress of some kind surrounded by a gigantic stone wall
- There were 3 or 4 dudes circling the wall, and by dudes I mean some "beings" that likely symbolized something
- One of the dudes was like a tin-man, wearing armor and dancing along the top of the wall making alot of noise
- The second dude had a big hammer or something and was trying to smash the wall...I'm not entirely sure on this one
- A third person was wearing a huge white cloak, I think it was a chic, and as she walked around the wall her big cloak coated the ground like snow
- There might have been a fourth person
- They were all trying to get into the fortress or at the very least drive the old man crazy, like he was being punished for something.
I want to say this was a weird take on the scrooge story....???

That's from the Moynihan Institute about the last time he took drugs.

It was from the adaptation of a story about an old man who wanted peace and quiet and kicked everyone off his property until not even Spring, Summer, and Fall would visit. Only winter, and with winter, came the guy with the hammer and the tin man who represented sleet, wind, etc. They made a horrible racket. And so he was all alone and had no peace. In the end, he realized he'd rather have the birds singing, etc.
I want to say it was called "Leave me alone", but I can't find it.
