Not answering the question but you could convert with something like iSquint (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/19769/isquint) and keep on your iPad. I believe that I went the Wi-Fi route before though they needed to be on the same network and that wasn't what I needed. iTunes Music Match would let you toss them all into the cloud for access anywhere, I believe?TomFurman wrote:So what would be needed to

Does the amount of material exceed the limits for Google Drive or Dropbox? If not, why would you need a WiFi hard drive?
