so, every year in sharkweek, they replay that episode where the shark expert is standing in the water talking about how misunderstood and docile sharks are when one takes a giant chomp outta his leg. i guess people're getting bored with the same old footage and they figure eventually this chick is gonna juice their ratings pretty good.

I've got "going under in a shark cage" on my bucket list. That's about as close to great whites as I'd like to get- no fucking way I'd swim with them in open waters. And no way I'd ever fall under the delusion that me and whatever sharks I happened to meet while I was down there "have a special connection" ... That's just insane. No fucking way a great white shark is getting an invite to my crib to hang out on my couch and watch the SuperBowl.

...and she's free diving while holding hands/fins with Mr. Maw of death.

I used to be afraid of Great White sharks but now I see that they are really just friendly sea giants and will gladly play among them.
