hah...when I was still in massage school, I had a body builder client who was dealing with some nagging injuries. He was a decent guy, a little bit of a bullet head, but pleasant enough.

Anyway, he asked for a bigger student with some ability to apply some pressure and really dig into the tissues, and since I was 3 inches taller and 30-40 lbs heavier than my student peers, I volunteered.

He was pretty built up - might come in 4th in a local bodybuilding contest or whatever, and pretty proud of his physique (with some justification). He said (in a totally non gay way) as he lay face up on the table,"Bet you've never worked on pecs like these before!"

And I smiled as I replied, "Uh-huh, and you've never dealt with thumbs like these before" and put some small amount of direct "sinking" pressure attention to some obvious trigger point sites around the 1st and 2nd ribs. Oh my, talk about "squealing like a kitten". Still makes me smile to recall it.

Oh hell yes, I do remember that episode. Didn't happen in my situation though...for the hour and 15 minutes he worked on me for at least half of it I was in pain. No I know some cats dig the pain thing but I'm not one of them.
