This kind of shows one of the major problems with events like CF's. They make their events things that require you to judge 300+ continuous movements to an odd and exacting standard each round. Powerlifting or weightlifting shows it's hard enough to judge 9 or 6 discrete efforts per athlete with a set of three judges watching each effort. If you do something with a lot of movements, you either need it to be obvious whether or not they're doing it right (like in swimming) or you need to grade broadly (like in running). There's a reason strongman events are things like "put stone on box" and "flip car over" and allow hitching on deadlifts. Easy to grade. They're digging their own hole there with their standards.
But they don't really have standards, the lack of any real judging requirement shows this (not requiring at least a video for the top level performers being a very simple example). The sole reason they acted on this was not due to any presumed breaking of the 'rules' but to try to quell the tide of complaints from the the great unwashed with their pitch forks and be seen to act even if there was no real issue, to ensure everyone keeps coughing up entry fees to keep Coach in gin and whores

Yeah, when I looked at the video for 30 seconds in a couple places, I was just like, "Meh, looks like CF." I suppose, sure, he didn't stand up completely totally straight on top of the box and muscle snatched the first thing. I'm sure a lot of competitors look worse. But there are all these internet toughguys policing "standards" and doing the dirty work of CF - just like normal.

would like to clear up any confusion regarding Chris Wyant. Chris is an ANIMAL, he recently was begged by the NY Jets front office to become their S&C coach, but when they saw his performance in the weight room, John Idzik(Jets GM) wanted to give him a tryout for the team. Well they had him run the 40 and he ran sub 4 seconds(3.98 seconds unofficially), then they had him perform the 225 bench press rep test and he got 197 reps(setting an all time record) so they are begging him to play this upcoming season. Chris is also now fielding offers from almost every other professional football team and many MLB teams are starting to inquire about his services. My guess is these other projects will prevent him from going to Regionals, as I fully expect him to be an opening day starter to the highest bidder among baseball teams pursuing him. (In a recent tryout with the Kansas City Royals he was clocked at 114 mph on his fastball) Then in the fall I would expect he is playing for the highest bidder among NFL teams. Chris is going to make Bo Jackson look like a bum.
